In the spirit of giving this coming Ramadhan, Gleneagles JPMC successfully conducted a charity drive today, reaching out to families in need across the Tutong district. As part of the hospital's Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative, the charity drive covered eight households, providing food supplies and necessities for the holy month.
This meaningful event was led by Gleneagles JPMC's Chief Operating Officer (COO), 'Izzul Hamzi bin Hj Jomari with a team of 20 volunteers from Gleneagles JPMC, embodying the hospital's values of compassion and unity. The initiative reflects the hospital's commitment to community welfare and its ongoing efforts to support underprivileged families. Our partnership with Majlis Kesejahteraan Masyarakat (MKM), who assisted in identifying the families, also played a role in expanding this Ramadhan effort.
"Our aim is not only to provide assistance but also to bring warmth and encouragement to these families during Ramadhan. We believe in giving back to the community and ensuring that no one is left behind," said by Chief Executive Officer of Gleneagles JPMC, Dr Peter Tay, in his briefing before the start of the event.
The donation drive included cash donations and distribution of essential food items as well as daily necessities to help ease the burden of the families preparing for Ramadhan. Gleneagles JPMC continues to uphold its CSR mission through various community-driven initiatives, striving to make a positive impact on society. This Ramadhan, the hospital reaffirms its dedication to spreading kindness and fostering a culture of generosity.
