As part of Gleneagles JPMC’s corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiative and in the spirit of the holy month of Ramadhan and preparation for Hari Raya, the hospital organised a charity drive yesterday to contribute donations in forms of basic essential items and cash to five underprivileged families in Brunei Muara.
The charity drive saw around 25 staff of Gleneagles JPMC as volunteers, and was led by ‘Izzul Hamzi bin Hj Jomari, the Chief Operating Officer of Gleneagles JPMC.
“At Gleneagles JPMC, we recognise the importance of giving back to the community. This is our third year organising this charity drive and we hope that this contribution can help ease the burden for the families especially during this festive season” said ‘Izzul Hamzi bin Hj Jomari.
Also present during the kick-off of the charity drive were Dr Prem Kumar Nair, Chief Executive Officer of IHH Healthcare Singapore and Dr Peter Tay, Chief Executive Officer of Gleneagles JPMC.
