Dr Sofian bin Dato Paduka Dr Haji Johar

Dr. Sofian Johar graduated in medicine from Trinity College, University of Cambridge, UK in 1998 and received a PhD from Kings College Hospital, London, UK in 2006. He completed his cardiology and subspecialty training in London, principally in the Royal Brompton Hospital in 2012 and is current practicing as a Senior Consultant Interventional Cardiologist and Electrophysiologist at Gleneagles JPMC in Brunei Darussalam. He is the current President of the Cardiac Society Brunei Darussalam.

To date, he has performed over 500 atrial fibrillation ablation procedures.
